  • Learn business domain inside and outside the project and department
  • Bring existing skills onto the team, adding value
  • Translate and/or create technical requirements to facilitate application code
  • Proactively participate technical discussions and brainstorming sessions
  • Deliver new aspects, solutions and innovations to the platform to enhance quality, maintainability and supportability
  • Act as mentor to junior developers and coach smaller group of developers to deliver the requirements together
  • Work closely with other development teams of the department
  • Strive to achieve excellent Agile behaviors and interactions
  • Work on unique, diverse and complex problems
  • Actively participate in the design phase; develop new functionalities and modules which are used all over the world
  • Exercise significant independent judgement to determine the best method for accomplishing objectives




  • Degree educated in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Ruby/Ruby on Rails development
  • Web Development experience in JavaScript (Backbone JS is a plus)
  • Significant experience in unit testing
  • Familiarity in different automated testing techniques are plus
  • Knowledge of Agile development and test practices
  • Passionate about delivering high quality software
  • Positive, can-do approach to work, delivering on commitments
  • Have the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively
  • Able to navigate complex situations, maintain focus, and bring clarity
